In August 2009, Lighthouse Ministries opened the Safe Haven homeless shelter to provide a positive community service for those less fortunate. The shelter is open 24/7 and accommodates 18+ residents. The facility has a lounge and fully equipped kitchen along with bedrooms and a laundry room.
